Bloglady bares her soul

What, can’t a blogger be overjoyed at her blogging success once in a while? It’s quarter past 6 in the morning, I’ve been up all night doing stuff…browsing this, testing that…blah blah! And I am like, totally rewarded!

I just checked the pagerank of Netty gritty, my blog featuring my internet mania and it is PR 4! Ok, ok, I know i did the celebration already, don’t mind my jabbering. It’s not everyday that my jaw drops (no, I am NOT exaggerating!) seeing my PR! Ever since I installed it, it was either n/a or 0. How unflattering! I swear I saw it have 4 one night, but poof! it was gone the next morning, giving way to n/a! I felt like suing Google! I mean if you are a search engine, you either love a blogger or hate her - but why play with her achy breaky heart, especially when her love for her blogs is true and unfaltering?

YEEEEES! Every little bit of blogging success makes me so happy! Like, when I view my own blog and my visitor tracker says “2 users online” and I get goosebumps just staring at that info! What do you know, four months is not long enough to replace noob joy with mature expectations! At least not for me!

Comments are something that make my day any day! Comments are very special to me, because it is a one-to-one communication. If someone took a moment to comment, it means I am really lucky! Out of millions of websites and blogs, that person chose mine (ok, maybe some others as well) to comment on on that day!

And to top it all, I am also on someone’s blogroll! Thanks to cjwriter! Morever, someone else also wants to add me. Since it was so kind of her to offer it I wanted to blogroll her first as a token of my appreciation. Why I still haven’t blogrolled her is another story and I will tell it some other time. 

Right now, I must greet the morning by hitting the bed. I am a certified night owl, you know!

Thanks for being there to hear my blabbering. I needed that!
